Donna Barr is the creator of the long-running and much-beloved series The Desert Peach and Stinz, among others. These classic black-and-whites set a new tone for intelligent, edgy comics. Her latest series – in response to readers asking for cross-overs of all her characters – is the wild and politically-charged Afterdead – running as a webomic and available as a full-color collection on Amazon. In the industry since 1986, she has too many other credits and awards to be included here, but she’s proudest of the San Diego Comic-Con Inkpot, and the legacy collection of her art and books in San Diego State University’s Love Library Special Collections.
