BRUCE SIMON is a cartoonist, writer and archivist living in Berkeley, CA. Growing up in Los Angeles in the 60’s, Bruce emigrated to Berkeley in 1972 and joined the Underground Comix movement producing work for The Print Mint, Last Gasp, Kitchen Sink and foisting his own solo books on a wary public.
Bruce went on to found the greeting card company CARD SHARKS and KineVideo Vintage Television; an archival service which since 1997 services the research needs of networks,
studios, authors and collectors with Vintage Television programming going back to the dawn of TV in 1948.
In recent years Bruce has written numerous articles on comic and pop-culture related subjects for MINESHAFT Magazine and now produces his own line of books along the same lines. With fellow author Ron Evry, Bruce also produces HOO-HAH!, a series of book-zines dedicated to Classic American Humor, currently highlighting the work of American genius J.R. Williams of the famous panel OUT OUR WAY.
