Bill Schelly is a prolific author on the subjects of fandom and comic books, such as The Golden Age of Comic Fandom in 1995, a dozen introductions to DC Archive books, and biographies of such comic book greats as Otto Binder, Joe Kubert, L. B. Cole, John Stanley and Harvey Kurtzman. His book Harvey Kurtzman, The Man Who Created Mad received an Eisner Award in 2016. He organized (or co-organized) fandom reunions in 1997 and 2011, and is the associate editor of Alter Ego magazine where he writes the popular Comic Fandom Archives series. He will be signing copies of his books, including the memoir Sense of Wonder, My Life in Comic Fandom and his new biography James Warren, Empire of Monsters.
