Throughout his 40-year career as a paleoartist-author, American-Australian Mark Hallett has combined carefully researched studies of prehistoric animal anatomy with observations of modern wildlife to create accurate depictions of prehistoric creatures and ecosystems, ranging from dinosaurs to ancient mammals and hominids. These have regularly featured in many films, books, magazines, museum exhibits and art galleries. Hallett is currently at work writing and illustrating a major book with his co-author Mathew J. Wedel on sauropod dinosaurs for Johns Hopkins University Press.
